Writing as a way of remembering, observing, and making meaning.
About Jorge
Jorge R. Obando is a writer, builder, and observer of the moments that often pass unnoticed.
His work explores memory, place, movement, family, and the emotional weight carried by ordinary experiences. Rather than separating reflection from everyday life, he writes from the belief that meaning often lives inside the small details—the landscapes we move through, the conversations we remember, the routes that shape us without asking permission.
The Tracks Remember and Trains and Castles emerged from one shared journey, told through two different lenses. One is reflective and literary. The other is child-centered, immediate, and full of wonder.
Ari’s presence is part of that journey too—not only in life, but in the emotional foundation that helped these books take shape.
Together, the books form the beginning of a wider creative and digital project: one that connects story, memory, place, and experience across physical and online spaces.
